NRTI, a vision of the Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is India’s first university focussed on transport-related education, multidisciplinary research and training. A Deemed to be University under the de Novo category and fully funded by the Government of India, NRTI is specifically established to create a resource pool of best-in-class professionals for the railway and transportation sector.

View ProgramNRTI's three-year full-time residential undergraduate programmes provide students the opportunity to learn from global faculty, practitioners, experts, and academicians, offering interdisciplinary immersion with focus on surface transportation. Through a values-based approach to academic learning, students will be equipped with both, a solid grounding in their core field of study, as well as core values.
This is a specialized programme focused on management practices in the context of the transportation sector. The curriculum is designed to introduce young minds to develop new ideas, innovative concepts, refined skills and in-depth knowledge to question, evaluate, invent and redefine surface transport ecosystems in India and the world.
