All programmes will be offered in collaboration with the transportation industry, especially Indian Railways, thereby enabling an application-oriented approach to academic learning.

PG Degree students will have the flexibility to build an academic plan that has the requisite composition of core and elective subjects from all learning tracks: I (Domain knowledge), II (Multidisciplinary learning) and III (Self-discovery and professional development).

NRTI encourages cross cohort interaction, and interdisciplinary collaboration among students and faculty.

Students would typically have two programme advisors, one expert mentor from the transportation industry, and one academic/research advisor from the university.

To earn a Diploma, each student will be required to complete the requisite minimum credit units over the programme period of 1 year.
