NRTI's three-year full-time residential undergraduate programmes provide students the opportunity to learn from global faculty, practitioners, experts, and academicians, offering interdisciplinary immersion with focus on surface transportation. Through a values-based approach to academic learning, students will be equipped with both, a solid grounding in their core field of study, as well as core values, such as, inclusive leadership, nation-building, empathy, and environmental consciousness. The focus of the programmes is to prepare intellectuals grounded in practicality and equipped with 21st century skills — critical thinking, problem-solving, communication and collaboration.
To earn a Bachelor’s degree, each student completes the requisite minimum credits over the programme period of three years comprising three trimesters each. Students typically study four-five courses in a trimester, across eight trimesters, and spend one trimester in their final year, experiencing a live industry project or preparing a thesis.
This is a specialized programme focused on management practices in the context of the transportation sector. The curriculum is designed to introduce young minds to develop new ideas, innovative concepts, refined skills and in-depth knowledge to question, evaluate, invent and redefine surface transport ecosystems in India and the world.
